Denise Milan, São Paulo, Brazil, 1954, is a sculptor and an experienced multidisciplinary artist. She is one of the leaders for the Public Art movement in Brazil and an active member both domestically and internationally. She uses the stone as her creative axis, executing works in the fields of public art, sculpture, performing arts, poetry, printing and video-art. Milan has exhibited her work in a great range of institutions at São Paulo, Brasília, Salvador, Belém, Londres, Nova York, Washington, Chicago, Hannover, Chapingo, Hakone, Osaka, Taiwain, Paris.
