Healing Times

The hourglass was the symbol chosen to suggest the pathway towards healing, from its recurrence to the process of transformation.

Einstein, a rock, in German, is the synthesis of nature forces. The time, the rock, the scientist, the hospital name, the man, all recurring to the ability to create and to change in the search for balance.

The healing times are imparted by two squares on the flanks of the panel-headed entrance. On the left-hand side square loose pieces of the hourglass on the ground stand for disorder, disease. On the right-hand side square, the unstable hourglass stands for order, health. Relief.

The central panel stands for the flow that turns disease into good health. After all, what is life if not a movement of coming and going, of flowing between states of balance and unbalance, of disease and good health? Healing, just a pathway through time, going through those states.
