O Wilson Center abriga a terceira mostra de "Denise Milan: Mist of the Earth", tendo sida anteriormente vista em São Paulo, de março a abril de 2014, e no Chicago Cultural Center, de junho de 2012 a janeiro de 2013.
Essa exposição é a culminação dessa experiência e a personificação das preocupações contínuas da artista - como também um testamento de um legado problemático da colonização, da escravidão dos povos africanos, e a exploração de regiões inteiras, assim como para o lado mais vívido do Brasil, sua beleza e espírito elevado.
Com curadoria de Simon Watson, Mist of the Earth apresenta fotografias e fotocolagens de Denise em diversos suportes.
